Hey, ya darn kids, Happy Easter to ya! I hope all is well. My weekend went pretty well. Tings were starting out kinda rocky on Friday. I was driving home after work and getting groceries, and there was some pretty clear clanging under the hood of the Ranger, so I stopped into the my mechanics who lives right before my turn off to go home. After getting my Jeep out of the shop and back on the road just a few days before, I felt a little skiddish about stopping in again for a rousing game of "guess that death rattle" and it was almost a coin toss if I should just go home instead. Well, it was a goood call, because we were both able to witness the death of the alternator. Since they wanted a couple hundred for a rebuilt and the truck itself is worth only a few hundred more, it became apparent that I would just pick one up at the junkyard and slap it on on Monday. So I called Boss and he picked me up and brought me home. And this stupid cold and cough just keeps hanging on. Crap. Anyway, Saturday morning I started out for the morning with the Jeep, picked up my tools out of the defunct truck, got some gas and the stupid Jeep wouldnt start again at the gas station. After a jump start from a buddy I was back on the road. Once again, friends came through! I went to check out the work needed on a friends house he is trying to sell, and it was too cold to do any sealing so I went and picked up a new alternator at the junkyard. I stopped in to see my grandpa at the nursing home but he was at lunch, so I visited with my uncle and Grandma. Then it was on to the next town to see my sister and her family and help them move a few loads of stuff to their new house. Then it was on the road for another hour to back home. Thank God today was just Church and Easter dinner at a friends house. Overall, not a bad weekend. Hope yours was good also! have a nice day!  ¶ 6:55 PM
